Das wohl bestbekannteste Ginger Ale! Mit spritziger Kohlensäure und dem milden Geschmack nach Ingwer erfrischt es nicht nur sondern eignet sich auch perfekt als Mixgetränk.

 

Canada Dry Ginger Ale wurde erstmals 1904 in Toronto hergestellt. Nachdem es durch den Versand in das nahegelegene New York schnell große Bekanntheit erreichte, wurde im Jahr 1919 eine weitere Fabrik in Manhattan eröffnet. 

Als Mixgetränk erfreute sich Canada Dry Ginger Ale besonders während der Prohibition großer Beliebtheit, da es gut den Geschmack von selbstgebranntem Alkohol überdeckte.

Seit 1930 wird Canada Dry weltweit exportiert, trägt durch die kanadische Flagge im Logo jedoch immer ein Stück Heimat bei sich!

Sehr lecker und erfrischend

Ich wollte immer schon mal ein klassisches Ginger Ale probieren, um mir den Geschmack vorstellen zu können. Meiner Meinung nach geht es etwas in Richtung Almdudler, schmeckt aber eben mehr nach Ingwer. Finde den Ingwer-Geschmack aber sehr angenehm und nicht zu stark. Frisch aus dem Kühlschrank ist es im Sommer bestimmt ein tolles Erfrischungsgetränk!
